《文鼎公眾授權(quán)書》是為分兩個(gè)版本的，分別是1999年版和2010年版。

前言

絕大多數(shù)軟件的授權(quán)書是用來(lái)剝奪您共享和修改軟件的自由。相反，如果您將我們所授與您的一切權(quán)利授與您的接受者，并且確保他們能得到本軟件的修改物，文鼎公眾授權(quán)書特別許可并鼓勵(lì)您使用本軟件。

法律性條款

0.　定義

本授權(quán)書中，「字型」是指「文鼎PL細(xì)上海宋」、「文鼎PL中楷」（BIG-5碼）和「文鼎PL簡(jiǎn)報(bào)宋」、「文鼎PL簡(jiǎn)中楷」（GB碼）等TrueType字型，以及經(jīng)修改而產(chǎn)生的該等字型的衍生物，包括修改字型樣式、更動(dòng)編碼順序、轉(zhuǎn)換格式、變更字型名稱，或者在glyph table中增減一些文字。

「PL」是指「Public License」（公眾授權(quán)）。

「版權(quán)人」是指在字型版權(quán)聲明中被稱為版權(quán)所有者之人。

「您」是指被授權(quán)者或復(fù)制、再散布、修改字型的人。

「自由使用」是指您在所接受的相同條件下，有復(fù)制、修改字型及散布字型復(fù)制品的自由，而非指價(jià)格。如果您愿意，可以對(duì)此項(xiàng)服務(wù)收取費(fèi)用。

1.　復(fù)制及分發(fā)

如果在所有復(fù)制品維持本授權(quán)書文件（ARPHICPL.TXT）不變，您可以在任何媒體無(wú)限制復(fù)制及分發(fā)本字型之復(fù)制品。

2.　修改

如果滿足以下條件，您可以用任何方式修改本字型的復(fù)制品，包括修改字型樣式、更換編碼順序、轉(zhuǎn)換格式、變更字型名稱，或者在glyph table中增減一些文字，并且依據(jù)上述第一條的規(guī)定復(fù)制及分發(fā)該修改物。

a)您必須在每個(gè)修改過的文件中插入明顯的聲明，表示您如何及何時(shí)修改了該文件。

b)您必須允許所有第三方在本授權(quán)書條款下，得以「自由使用」該修改物的全部，例如通過提供指定地點(diǎn)的復(fù)制路徑，或在通常作為軟件交換的媒體上發(fā)布該修改物。

c)如果修改過的字型在執(zhí)行時(shí)以交談方式讀取命令，您必須使它在開始進(jìn)入一般的交談使用方式時(shí)打印或顯示聲明，包括適當(dāng)?shù)陌鏅?quán)聲明、無(wú)擔(dān)保聲明（或者其他您提供擔(dān)保的聲明），以及使用者可以依據(jù)這些條件再分發(fā)本字型的聲明，并且告知使用者如何看到本授權(quán)書的復(fù)本。

3.　解除條件

除非依照本授權(quán)書的規(guī)定，否則您不能復(fù)制、修改、再授權(quán)或分發(fā)本字型。任何用其他方式復(fù)制、修改、再授權(quán)或分發(fā)本字型的意圖，將使本授權(quán)書所授與您的權(quán)利自動(dòng)失效。不過，從您那依據(jù)本授權(quán)書取得復(fù)制品和權(quán)利的人，只要他們完全遵行條款，其權(quán)利將維持有效。

4.　同意

因您未簽訂本授權(quán)書，所以沒必要遵行它。然而，沒有任何其他文件授與您復(fù)制、修改、再授權(quán)或分發(fā)本字型之權(quán)利，如果您不同意本授權(quán)書，這些行為是法律所禁止的。因此一旦復(fù)制、修改、再授權(quán)或分發(fā)本字型，就表示您接受本授權(quán)書及其一切條款和條件。

5.　自動(dòng)取得授權(quán)

每當(dāng)您再散布本字型時(shí)，收受者便自動(dòng)從原始授權(quán)者處取得依據(jù)這些條款和條件復(fù)制、分發(fā)或修改本字型的授權(quán)。您不可對(duì)在此所授與收受者之權(quán)利實(shí)行強(qiáng)加其他限制，您也沒有使第三方遵行本授權(quán)書的義務(wù)。

6.　抵觸

若因法院判決、違反專利宣稱或任何其他原因（不限于專利糾紛）的結(jié)果，使強(qiáng)加于您的條件（不論是法院命令、協(xié)議或其他）和授權(quán)書的條件有所沖突時(shí)，也不能讓您違背授權(quán)書的條件。如果您不能同時(shí)滿足本授權(quán)書所定的義務(wù)及其他相關(guān)義務(wù)來(lái)分發(fā)時(shí)，那麼您根本不可分發(fā)本字型。例如，如果專利授權(quán)不許所有直接或間接從您那里取得復(fù)制品者，在免授權(quán)費(fèi)的情況下再分發(fā)本字型時(shí)，唯一能同時(shí)滿足雙方要求的方法是完全避免分發(fā)本字型。

如果本條款之任何部分在特定情況下無(wú)效或無(wú)法實(shí)施，條款的其他部分將繼續(xù)適用，并作為整體適用于其他情況。

7.　無(wú)擔(dān)保
